Update: 05/19/01 Well its been awhile!, I've been busy and haven't had time to work on this page but here are the updates. I bought a new trans for the bird, and a van with rebuilt 89 350 V-8 with TBI system which I intend take the wireing harness & engine out of and put into the Esprit this summer when I strip it down to the frame.
Update: 07/19/01 Well I striped the bird down to the frame and found that it is a total wreck the shell is riddeled with holes, and that the drivetrain and suspension are toast. I have decided to strip it and look for another car to restore.
Update: 07/28/01 Well I found a car and am about to have it towed to my house it is a 79 Formula with a 400 V-8 (minus accessorie brakets) and T-tops (GM not hurst).
Update: 08/03/01 Well the bird is home and now I begin to try to mix and match proper pullies.
Update: 08/27/01 I found the proper pullies thanx to Don the man who I bought the original Esprit off of. I hooked them up and they are a perfict match.

Update: 05/29/03 Been awhile again! Basically I've been collecting parts for my restoration sence the last update, have alsmost everything now, I also have the car in good running condition everything works and so forth.
Update: 05/30/03 I did alot of updates to the pages today, I also forgot to mention that I got a new car a few months ago... a 92 Firebird with a 305 and automatic.
Update: 08/07/07 Been awhile again I actually gave this project up to my uncle about 6 months after that last post. Well in about late summer of 05 he decided it was more work than he was willing to do and offered it back to me. Long story short me and my dad completely stripped it to the shell at my uncles house over the fall of 05 and spring of 06 then with the help of a Uhal, a hoist, a friend, a few family members and my dad we moved the shell to my dads house and everything else to a storage unit. I took a big step back and rethought this project at that point. Basically I am at this point, next summer the shell needs to be media blasted and new floor pans, and subframe connectors and formed rear frame rails welded in. Rebuild the suspension and get it on 4 tires again. Rebuild and install the engine and trans. Do any custom body work like shaved door handles ect and get it painted. Reinstall the interior and hey I have a car again! Easy right? See you in another 7 years lol
